Are your food choices, stress levels, and daily routines and holding your body back?

Like a lot of busy women who want to feel better, you’ve probably experimented with many approaches to your wellness only to feel more frustrated and confused.

Is vegan the way? Paleo? Keto?
Should you go back to counting calories?
Give up dairy? Drink celery juice? Strength train? Stretch more?

Everywhere we turn, there is a new wellness plan (or pill) that promises to: balance our hormones, clear our skin, help us lose menopausal belly fat, even out our moods, and more!

If you’re exhausted by and skeptical of wellness guidance at this point, I feel you. Allow me to introduce you to the functional nutrition approach to healing and longevity…

Functional nutrition therapy is different.

The functional nutrition approach to wellness addresses the personal complexity of illness. People can have illness issues that are compounded. What I mean is, a single issue may be layered with another issue to create a collection of symptoms that are intertwined…tangled.

As a certified functional nutrition therapist, my job is to help you untangle the mysteriousness of your health challenges by looking at all the facets of your life—body, mind, and spirit.

Your symptoms are clues to what is out of balance in your body. And your body is unique due to your genetics, ancestral make-up, age, geography, and daily environment. We call this bio-individuality.

Each functional nutrition journey begins with an in-depth evaluation of your symptom progression and comprehensive wellness assessment. If necessary, I may request lab work and appropriate functional testing.

I'm currently undergoing a traditional medical treatment protocol. Can you still help me?

I totally understand and would never ask you to disregard your prescriptions and or physician-directed medical guidance. Your functional nutrition plan will be designed to support, optimize, and compliment your medical journey.

How long does it take to see progress?

I would never make claims or promises because every person is different. Your progress will depend upon your unique set of circumstances and your willingness to follow my recommendations. Additionally, we will continually monitor your journey and make adjustments as needed to keep you moving toward your wellness goals.

How does this differ from other forms of health or dietary coaching?

I will take a comprehensive look at your lifestyle and symptoms. My first goal is to determine if there are any significant issues related to your digestion, blood sugar regulation, hydration, mineral balance, and a nutrient intake. Once we’ve made necessary corrections in those areas (through diet, targeted/bio-individual supplementation, lifestyle changes and stress reduction), I may recommend functional lab work and/or blood work.

I've been to lots of doctors for my chronic health issues and have gotten little relief. Is this for me?

I take a different approach. My goal is to pinpoint the root cause of your symptoms and illness. We will work from the foundation up because when your wellness foundation is strong and aligned, your body can do what it’s naturally designed to do…heal. The foundations I’m referring to are: digestion, blood sugar regulation, mineral balance, hydration, and of course a nutrient-dense diet. We must have these in place in order to create relief from symptoms.

Is functional nutrition therapy expensive?

Is illness expensive? Yes.

In contrast, your functional nutrition journey is very affordable.
Your initial 90 min assessment is a $195 investment.
Follow-up appointments (1-hour) are $100.
